I don't know enough about Beyonce to say she isn't a role model. I mean, she did get married before having Blue-Ivy, and that in itself wins my support. I despise the unmerited glamor that stars receive when they have children out-of-wedlock.
Lastly, I haven't seen any scandalous photos or porn-films of Beyonce. She isn't strung out on drugs, and until recently her parents were still married.

It's remarkable that you would equate Beyonce to Kim. They're totally opposite!

1. Kim can't sing. Beyonce can.
2. Kim made a sex tape. When and where have you seen Beyonce exploit herself like that?
3. Kim was raised by a single parent. Beyonce had the benefit of having both parents as she was growing up.
4. Kim is famous for being famous. Besides her beauty, she's talentless. Beyonce earned her celebrity status and all of her awards by her phenomenal singing and not~too~shabby acting ability.
5. Kim wanders from relationship to meaningless relationship, while Beyonce is in a thriving marriage.

I'd be willing to bet that when Kim has a child, it will be illegitimate, while Beyonce has already shown millions of her female admirers the right way to bring a child into this world. In other words, within a stable family and marriage.

What's wrong with a single parent? Well, they are single parents! Flip to an evening news program and watch who is featured as prime suspects or victims in murders. The offspring of single, never-been-married, divorced mothers/parents. You can, like most of America, close your eyes/ears to the truth, but that won't make it untrue.

Do you think being a single-mother/parent is the best role model for a young girl? Hell NO!, of course not. Sure, there are children who manage to make it to adulthood unscathed by their less than ideal family settings, but that doesn't negate the fact that two-parent households provide a significantly better environment in which to live.

Beyonce is a celebrity; she doesn't need to seek attention. I don't know her personally, so her personality is not a concern of mine. But, apparently, she is loved by her family and friends and ultimately, their opinions are the only ones that matter.
