Average cost of Yankee ticket is now $73. Would you pay that for a likely bad seat?

Nope. I'm more of a football girl myself so the only time i go to baseball games is when I get my company seats for free. lol. Baseball boys sure are hot though.

I have payed that much for a bad seat, I'm going to the game the day after the first regular season game at Yankee stadium II

Heck, I doubt I'd go see a dang American League "psuedo-baseball game", if they paid ME $73 to go!

Everything costs a fortune in NY, just goes with the territory. We just accept it. The Yanks are my lifelong team so I guess I'd have to scrounge up the bucks to go and support them.

I just love baseball! Growing up my Dad was friends with Tommy LaSorda..So as a lil girl seeing all my favorite players up close and throwing the ball to me was pretty special....I'd go to a Yankee game anyday and have as much fun!!!lol

I think that was a great place/people for you to have memories from. It IS pretty darn special. Well that's good, that you'ld go see the Yanks and feel just as comfy. And you'ld pay thru the nose to be with them too! Lol. (they've got some nerve,...but they've got to pay for that new stadium somehow, & all those mega salaries...haha & steriods cost some bucks...)

First, I wouldn't pay a nickle let alone $73 to go watch a bunch a spoiled brats play baseball...with their money strikes, drug use and pure arrogance, I found there are other more enjoyable things in life to pursue...

But what if its something you really enjoy sparta? Like maybe baseball?What do you love sparta?I bet its a good one....:)

From a sports view...I'm a fan of auto racing...you don't find unions clamoring for more money or individuals who are on drugs or those who hold themselves up as tin gods and won't sign autograph...in racing, drug tests are the norm and only three drivers have been ban from the sport...race drivers are appreciative to have a job...you don't really see that in baseball, football and basketball because of the bloated unions.

I was once a professional baseball player and had I stayed in the sport I would have been considered an outcast as I don't believe in collective bargaining...pay me a good salary, appreciate my talents and lets' play. I had to go to auto racing to find out what it meant to be just one of the guys and appreciated by the fans.

The other things I enjoy in my life is; my Lord Jesus Christ, being with friends and family and living free, although this last one is being tested by the traitor obama.

Wow...! I dated a very famous nascar driver a ways back...Learned to love it as the sport it is..The people are all so very nice and very funny..
I agree about the nonsense involved with the collective bargaining..I try and stay out of it so I can enjoy sports in general..But it does take away from the mainstream sports...Good to see you today sparta...

Well,im a huge baseball fan..If I were going to Yankee stadium I would pay for the best,awesome experience..However ,give me my LA Dodgers and im all in for the season and opening day.....!

Ah, so I see you like the 'Brooklyn Bums', they were the Brooklyn Dodgers before they became the LA Dodgers. Many were so pissed at them when they decided to leave us for California, now that hurt. There used to be stiff rivalry between them and the Yanks, (my fav team)..., they were arch-rivals... : )

Yes,I know...And it still is a sore subject to some....LOL...I grew up going to Dodger games....We dont have a football team in LA,which is so rediculous!!! Of all cities to be without...We used to have the RAMS, my teachers husband was an owner,and she would take me when I was this lil kid to all the games and have me dressed in a lil Rams cheerleader outfit...What a cool teacher she was...Still know her...

I haven't paid to see a pro sport since 1986, these over paid under achievers will not get my hard earned cash
