You may recognize Michael Fassbender for his work in "Inglorious Bastards," "X-Men: First Class" (he played Magneto) or, more recently, "Prometheus." Well, "Assassin's Creed 3" is nearing its October 30th release date, and Ubisoft -- the creator of "Assassin Creed" -- is developing the film themselves, after talks with Sony Pictures fell through.

The film adaptation of popular video game franchise Assassin's Creed will star Michael Fassbender, who will also co-produce through his DMC Film production company
