Anyone who thought that Ebenezer Scrooge was the King of Christmas “bah humbugs” might reconsider when they hear about this. Although it’s been over a year since Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore called it quits, he waited until December 21 to finally file for divorce. Maybe it’s a case of a celeb hoping to fly under the radar with big gossip column fodder by leaking the news right before the big holiday weekend.

In fairness to Ashton it’s clear that there’s no hope that he and Moore will ever reconcile. If you believe some sources, even Demi’s own daughters have cut off contact with her because of her recent bizarre behavior. And Moore's camp is saying that she wanted the whole mess to be over since day one but has been dealing with some outstanding financial issues. Still it feels like there might be more to it than all of that.

Perhaps the “Two and a Half Men” star is hoping to ring in the New Year with a clean slate and give his new ladylove Mila Kunis the best Christmas gift any girl could hope for — his freedom. After all she had a rough week being the target of anti-Semitic slurs from an Ukrainian politician. And the hot young couple’s relationship has clearly been heating up with ongoing PDA’s in Los Angeles, New York and Rome. What do you think: Did he do it for Mila Kunis?

I hope he filed for his peace of mind' not someone else's peace of mind, because that can backfire on a person when they do things trying to seemingly prove things to the other person. What's the guarantee it will work out with Mila'

Hopefully he did it for himself and starting a new chapter in his life. You never leave one relationship for another or it's only a matter of time before you leaving the new one; you only leave for yourself. Otherwise you're always looking for the next best deal around the corner and never seeing what you have.
