Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a lot of things in his time. He's been a world-class bodybuilder, a mega-successful movie star, the governor of California, the subject of an enormously public marital scandal -- hell, he's even been Austrian.
But "memoir writer" is a calling he's never answered.
Until now.
According to The New York Times, the 64-year-old actor is planning to release a personal memoir titled "Total Recall" around October of next year, but there's a little bit of uncertainty over what the book will actually cover.
"Terminator 2" and his time in office are shoe-ins, but his bodybuilding career was marred by steroid use and the chapter on his marriage to Maria Shriver could turn out to be less revealing than the public is hoping for.
Publishers Simon & Schuster assured the Times that the book would be "one of the most anticipated autobiographies of this generation" and "a big seller in the United States and abroad," but People magazine got a different story.
An unnamed source told People, "This will not be a tell-all."
We could see the book doing well on the coattails of his movie career alone, but if he's going to leave out the good parts, it's not going to go down well.
Plus, there's always the chance Shriver might beat him to it.

GO HOME ARNY!
By the way, I hope he either already has, or obtains the rights for the title of that movie, otherwise he could have more to write about later. :-P
I hope that works itself out someday.
