Unitas was a walk-on with the Baltimore Colts before he survived the cut in 1957,
supposedly washed-up after being released by the Steelers in practice camp and
relegated to semi-pro ball; Warner was a virtual walk-on with the Cardinals as a
spent, elderly, backup QB, after being supposedly washed-up after being released
as superfluous by the Giants after training Manning for the starting QB role.
They both display(ed) the “Gambler” syndrome, the confidence to gamble on a
pass with third or goal and short yardage, when the obvious choice is the run
through the line.
They both have (had) the ability to fade back to the left or right and throw the
Bomb for long yardage along the sideline – Unitas (he invented the Bomb) to
Moore; Warner to Fitzgerald, most recently in identical plays against the
Panthers and Eagles on the runningback-lateral to Warner who fades back,
receives the lateral, and then throws the Bomb along the sideline.

The identical ability to march down the field on long drives in closing seconds to
win or tie the game, most notably by Unitas in 1958 against the Giants to tie in the
last minute, by Warner against the Eagles in 2008 to win in the last minute.
Finally, that rare, cool savoire-faire possessed only by the lucky few.

I am, and always have been , a life long fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I believe they will lose this game because of their uniform selection. They are the home team and decided to wear their away uniforms. This is, in my opinion, an insult to the Black and Gold within the city of Pittsburgh. It's all about black and gold and not white. They made their decision on past victories while wearing their away uniforms, white. This is not a sign of confidence in their ability as a football team. This is a sigh of superstition and rabbit foots. Here they had the chance to show the world their colors, but showed their insecurity with the excuse we could have beaten them if we were at home. They enter the arena with the thought of luck and superstitution instead of their skills. They should be ashamed of themselves. Bye: Adam Troy
EVEN THO IM A DALLAS COWBOYS FAN I THINK THE STEELERS WILL WIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
