Are you..like me.. going to be dragged to that stinkin' scary movie.. Shutter.. this weekend?

Ok.. I am a wimp.. I would admit.. it's just by the same producers as The Ring and The Grudge.. and I hate when there is a creepy black haired little girl.. creeping around.. killing people and scaring everybody.. and I have to home alone sometimes.. and I am freaked out enough as it is. Are you in the same boat as me?

    Nope , my 21 yr old son is dragging me to see Horton Hears A Who this weekend. LOL I just know there will be an overload of preschoolers there!! Lord, help me!!

    NO.... I sees what I wants to see..

    The Grudge and such ended up being too disappointing to be scary for me. Movies like The Eye (the original.. not the jerky remake which wastes all the hotness of Jessica Alba) and The Others.. especially The Others really worked as far as freaking me out because the stories were just better.. they didn't throw me out of my suspension of disbelief.

    When they turn to the formula of teen slasher films, with campy plot-holes and absurd glossing over of details just so certain scenes can play out to the director's lame fantasy - they lose me.. They make me think, 'I'm sitting in a theater.. watching a bad movie.. I don't care about the characters or the plot because they've been ruined.'

    I make sure my Tv Is off and I only watch small tv's things she cant climb out of My wife thinks im a nut! LoL Im a scardy cat! I hate the shinning there is one part in it that totaly scares the hell out of me! Its when the boy goes in too romm 402 and the dead lady in the tub starts climbing out wanting a kiss! And the kid cant make it out of the room! Because the door gets like a mile away! ts like Oh crap why did you go in there you dumb kid! I yell at the screen . Dont go in but he always dose. Or the part he is riding his big wheel and the two ghost girls say come and play with us . Its like I yell No dont play with them there Dead and the kid just never lisens . Freaks me out! EEEEEEEEE

    I am on sodahead right now while my friends are seeing this movie. So far, American remakes of Asian horror movies are a big bust. The 2004 Thai version of this movie was terrific. I'm not going to waste my time on another remake disappointment.

    Don't watch too many scary movies. I don't have nightmares or anything, I just can't hold my breath that long. I would probably go if my wife wanted, but fortunately she doesn't care for that type of movie either.
