Are You Sad to See Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber Call It Quits?

The long, romantic relationship between music superstars Justin Bieber, 18, and Selena Gomez, 20, is officially over. The two have split up, according to sources of numerous media outlets. They were deemed the "cutest power couple," given their respective fame and individual success, but as people get older, thing change.

The same is true with relationships. They either strengthen over time or take a turn for the worst. From what Bieber and Gomez have said in past interviews, both were each other's first loves, with a number of songs dedicated to each other. In fact, Bieber admired Gomez so much at one point that he reportedly rented out the Los Angeles Staples Center (home of the Lakers and Clippers) so he and Gomez could watch a private screening of Titanic.

Luckily for them, it doesn't seem like this breakup will hurt their careers at all, as Bieber is currently on tour promoting his recent album and recently performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, while Gomez is filming a Wizards of Waverly Place special for the Disney Channel. Their relationship may have come crashing down, but their career paths are still going in the right direction--up.
