Are You Psyched for New 'Vampire Diaries'?

Just one more month until the season premiere of "The Vampire Diaries," and teaser season is in full swing with a new extended trailer promising that season two will be as savagely sexy as the first.

For those of you who didn't catch the season finale last year, it ended with Jeremy Gilbert lying motionless next to a container of vampire blood and a bottle of pills. The big question for September's premiere is whether or not he'll be a vampire.

Producer Kevin Williamson told Hollywood Crush that we'll find out what happens to Gilbert "in the first act of the very first scene."

Much of the story will continue to follow Elena Gilbert and her overly involved vampiric love triangle with the Salvatore brothers, Stefan and Damon, as well as their centuries-long mistress, Katherine Pierce.

Executive producer Julie Plec told TV Guide, "[Katherine] sets her sights on basically making sure that the Stefan and Elena love story hits a snag...Obviously it's fun to see Damon and Katherine because there's a lot of history there, too, but the triangle becomes the square."

Whatever develops this season, it's gonna be messy.
