If you don't follow rap music, Ol' Dirty Bastard might seem like a shocking monicker, but ODB (né Russell Jones) was a beloved member of the influential Wu-Tang Clan, and his 2004 funeral was attended by thousands of fans. However, the years leading up to his death are shrouded in mystery as the rapper walked a fine line between genius and insanity, ultimately ending in a drug overdose. Now director Joaquin Baca-Asay and writer Brent Hoff are making a movie about those final days called "Dirty White Boy."
According to The Daily Caller, "the film, 'Dirty White Boy' will center around Jarry Weisfeld, a former VH1 intern who was pulled into the orbit of Ol’ Dirty Bastard and the Wu-Tang Clan, and the events surrounding the last few years of the rapper’s life...Producers of “Dirty White Boy” said the film will focus on Weisfeld’s life as well as Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s."
Producers also said, "We both knew full well who Ol' Dirty Bastard was, but this story completely floored us. As filmmakers, we knew that this would make a great film and that Jarred Weisfeld would offer an actor a complicated and compelling character to play. This felt to us like 'Risky Business' and '8 Mile,' with equal elements of darkness, humor, and humanity." ODB will be played by Michael K. Hall from "The Wire." Are you interested?

I'm very SAD for the DEATH of ODB (né RUSSELL JONES) & his MENTAL ILLNESS
prior to his passing. GOD BLESS HIS SOUL! REST IN PEACE OBD-RUSSELL JONES!
GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY & LOVED-ONES!
Why would I want to see a biopic of my life?
Sorry the dude is dead. I never heard of him until now.
If Wu-Tang does not meet this requirement, then I imagine your "requirement" is based on an ignorant dislike for Rap music, as opposed to any legitimate, intelligent, grievances with Wu-Tang.
