Some people say that Skrillex's music sounds like a glitchy video game, so it's only fitting that the dubstep DJ would come out with a glitchy video game of his own. Skrillex Quest is available to play for free online here and was inspired by The Legend of Zelda and, of course, Skrillex music.
The game creator Jason Oda proudly wrote on Facebook, "I really think it's the best game I've ever done. Remember blowing the dust out of your NES cartridges when they glitched? The game is all about that from the perspective of the people within the game." Are you interested in Skrillex Quest, SodaHeads? Or will you be sticking to your tried-and-true video game favorites instead?

It does not seem to be game's style like Minecraft (MC pulled out use of boxes in a good way. I don't like the game but I'm honest).
From the looks of it it tries hard to be a 16-bit like game with 3D! They should have used a side-scroller engine! And look at that mess on the left and on the floor on the right! It's as messy as dubstep music! The sky is just horrible!
And look at the main character! He looks like a kid's drawing in Paint! No, worse! And he kind a reminds me of Link from Zelda games! That is if Link had thin legs unnaturally distant one from other.
And no, with this color palette it's not 8-bit like...
Everyone takes a first glance and says "OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT GAME?!?!?!?!?"
Then they play and see a difference.
