Are you happy with the actor chosen to play Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie?

Personally I don't think he's right for the job.
He's sort of cute, but not breathtakingly gorgeous or dazzling to the eye.
I know that no human could accurately portray such a person, but I think they could have done better than Robert Pattinson.

Who would have thought Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt would have made good vampires nut when you saw "Interview with the Vampire" the performances were great.

Well the book protrade Edward Cullen as being 'gorgeous' and RPattz is NOT gorgeous, they should have had someone else. I don't care what anyone says Edward Cullen is suppose to be gorgeous not blucky.

Edward is awesome!! He was great at protecting Bella they both were really good actors and if you have not seen the movie WATCH it, it is so good and if you haven't read all of the books you should!! Edward is really hot and beautiful I have so many pictures of him on my phone and my room i love Edward Cullen/ Robert

for edwards character, he couldnt be too famous of an actor, (aka no zac efron) he had to be really attractive(in the way stephanie described him- jaw line hair, bone stucture pale..+), and have good chemisty with kristen and be a good enough actor to portray edwards intense moods,(aka not like a model, that cant give lines convincingly) and i think robert is the perfect guy for the part, he looks like edward is described, obviosly edward is other worldly beautiful, so take it as it is! otherworldly!!! meaning obviously no1 could ever be as perfectly perfect as edward, but i think robert is close enough :)

He's awesome, but in my mind not a person exists who could probably play Edward better than him. There's no "human" who could look like him, but Pattinson will do amazing still!

his okay looking but his not beautiful. To say the truth i dont like the actors they chose through the whole movie, im sure there good but its not the way i would imagin the charters

Okay. So I never read the books. [Haven't gotten around to it, plus they're impossible to get a hold of around me anyway] But I get the plot a bit. Judging only on the fact that he's a vampire, I don't think this guy has that right sexy, seductive look. I don't think he's hot enough. But...I guess he shouldn't be too stunning to make the whole thing believable. idk. lol.

Rob is gorgeous! I don't understand people that say he is ugly. He has that perfect face for Edward because he has the perfect chiseled bone structure of Edward as described in the book. He is gonna be an awesome Edward. If anybody was cast incorrectly, it would be Taylor Lautner playing Jacob. He is too little..too skinny...I have no idea how they are make him look big and brawny in the next few movies. He needs to bulk up!

Alright, everyone's opinion on stunningly beautiful is different, of course no actor is going to be perfect for everyone. Personally, I'll stick to the verson I have of him in my head. I don't intend to see the film in theatres, nor do I see what all the fuss is about. Sure, the books are nice, fluffy reads, but it's not the best series I've ever read. I'm sick of the hype. I read Twilight before everyone was gushing about it, and all the hype has turned me off of the series a bit. I still haven't even bothered getting the fourth book yet. I'll wait 'til Christmas or something.

I quite enjoyed it, but fangirls and fanboys tend to turn me off of things. I hate to be clumped in with fanatics. But, everyone's different, haha. I've a few friends who are completely addicted as well.

I never thought he was handsome in Harry Potter but Twilight made me think different. Once I found out he was going to play Edward, I fell into this deep attraction with him when I read the books. At those parts when the author would describe how he was so perfect in Bella's eyes, I would just smile.

I was SOOO disappointed when Robert was chosen to play Edward. Hopefully he'll be a good actor to make up for the fact he doesnt look at all how i pictured Edward
