Are You Happy the Miami Heat Won the NBA Championship?

Big news on the basketball front! LeBron James and the modern-day Miami Heat have finally won that elusive NBA Championship. LeBron was already widely regarded as the best player in the NBA and a ring for “The King” cements that. He not only banked a triple double in the closeout Game 5 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but won the Finals MVP award as well. He also won his third MVP award this past season, putting him in rare, Hall-of-Fame-level company.

It wasn't all LeBron James on Thursday night though. Former Sixth Man of The Year Mike Miller, stepped up big, hitting seven three pointers and clocking in 23 points overall. Miller battled injuries and the stress of being the parent of a child with serious health issues the last couple of seasons, but he played a huge role in the closeout game that was sure to be a great reward for his tough road.

Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh did their part, too. As Wade told ABC and ESPN in an interview during the postseason, the Heat are now LeBron James' team. Wade may have been there longer and won a ring before, but whatever changes he and the squad made this year, it obviously worked and led to an awesome result. Well, for Heat fans anyway. As for the young Thunder team, with a core that's an average age of 23, don't be surprised if they're back to the promise land soon enough. Are you happy the Miami Heat won the 2012 NBA Championship?

They made it to the NBA Finals last year, but they didn't win it. Miami is 1 for 2.

No I am never happy to see a game that home-cooking and referees determining the winner of the game. I abhor cheating and the last two games were training videos for it.

Losers blame the reffs. I even had a Heat fan agrue that the heat lost cause of the reffs and i argued they got out played that day. I dont like when people blame the reffs because the game didn't go their way. I mean did the reffs love dallas last year? I quess so, according to you.

I have said the same thing when the Heat won the other games but the last one was so obvious and I am sorry if you cannot accept it. Granted Thunder missed some good shots but I will stand on the FACT as others have attested that the last game was loaded with home-cooking and James did not get that ring honestly. Now I really don't care if you can be honest with yourself and deal with it.......it speaks volumes of your character....your picture that you posted says it as well, look at the expression on his thug face.

note: You know where you can put that finger.

that games was a wipe out, no reff could change that plus the heat didnt even touch the thunder and they called fouls plus that goal tend was a block. the thunder wouldnt have been that close if the reffs were making calls for them

I thought it was just me that was so glad it was over. Didn't basketball used to get over around April after March madness and college? I don't mind it when ESPN has it on but leave the regular stations alone.

I know and understand......it is hard work being a whiner and producing the amount of tears he has over the years....hey...maybe that is why he had to be carried off the court on game 4. He said that he was dehydrated ....AHHHHHHHHH...that is why the refs fixed the game.....sympathy for him, now maybe the shining will stop.

Apparently you did not watch either the game. There is more to the picture than the statics. So the rest of your argument is BS in my opinion.

I have played sports and I dance so yeah I do know about dehydration. Labron James is a whiner, I have no respect for him as a player and a human. He is nothing but a street ball thug.

If that is what you like kewl go with it but I stand for honesty, integrity, and good sportsmanship.....none of which was seen in that last game.

I didn't watch the whole game, but I saw not a single occasion of LeBron acting unsportsmanlike. Tell me what he did in what period. If you make a claim, the burden of proof is on you.

You may know about dehydration, but dehydration ≠ leg cramps. If you've never had a leg cramp, you don't get to talk about how you feel they should be managed. I once collapsed in the middle of the student lounge at school because I had been on a hellish rehearsal schedule the whole week and wasn't resting enough. It took two people to pick me up and put me on a couch because I was completely immobilized by the pain--and I'm tiny. My friend, who's six feet tall and can deadlift 200 pounds, couldn't do it by himself.

Like I said, just provide me with some examples of LeBron's lack of "honesty, integrity, and good sportsmanship."

Labron is still nothing but a whining little street ball thug.
