"Pirates of the Caribbean" fans have been patiently awaiting the fourth installment of the beloved franchise, but the wait is finally up. "On Stranger Tides" is in theaters right now.

A box-office sweep is practically a given on this one, despite lukewarm reviews calling the movie "more of the same." The only question is whether or not you'll help it out.

I watched the first movie, because it looked fun. I watched sequels because of Captain Jack Sparrow! Johnny Depp plays the role well...maybe too well. XD

um 1.) the scenes are supposed to be long. It's a lot better than Priest where the scenes were 15 seconds. 2.) The mermaids DID use their looks to intice the men to the edge and then proceeded to coax them into the water with their voice. I don't know what CGI means so I'm not going to address that but I will agree about the fountain. It pretty much sucked. ><

I saw it yesterday(saturday) and I loved it. Not the best, but it was great. I was dissapointed in the fact that Will and Elizabeth werent in it, but I understand why. I wish there were more of the original people in it, and I dont like how Barbossa changed so much. Also, what the hell happened to the catholic dude in the end!? And was this film even disney?

I don't have time this week. I might see it when it is out on DVD but I do have to say that it doesn't look as interesting as the last ones. The real question is, "when are they going to stop making movies?" Sure they can be exciting but I felt like the last one was a good end to the story, but of course they have to insinuate that there's even more.
