The Miami Heat finally dispatched of the tough, veteran Boston Celtics over the weekend in the all-or-nothing Game 7, to become the Eastern Conference Champions and punch their ticket to the NBA Finals for the second year in a row. Last year, the Heat came up short against another veteran team in the Dallas Mavericks.
This year, however, the Heat face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team is young and hungry -- and the player core has an average age of 23. The Heat's Big Three of reigning MVPs -- LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh -- will face off against the Thunder's Big Three of MVPs runner-up -- Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Sixth Man of The Year James Harden.
The young OKC squad also boasts a couple of championship team veterans in five-time NBA champion and former Los Angeles Laker Derek Fisher, as well as center Kendrick Perkins, who won a ring with the 2008 Boston Celtics. Both veterans have played big roles in championship teams in the past and their experience can't be discredited. But as a team, the Heat have been here before. Can they get through the young guns or will OKC Nation watch their team Thunder Up(!) to an NBA Title? Find out Tuesday night on ABC, when the NBA Finals begin with Game 1: Miami Heat Oklahoma City Thunder.

I hate to throw a good guy under the bus, but it's like the Tebow effect. ESPN shoves him down your face every morning, noon, and night to the point where you just get tired of hearing about how great someone is that hasn't won anything yet...
Thunder team. Many are not familiar with its talent vs the Spurs, Celtics or Heat, It is a team that deserves more recognition.
