The Draft is upon us. On Thursday night, the NBA Draft will serve as a haven for the league's worst teams. All of them are looking to improve and get back to the promise land -- the NBA Playoffs -- and eventually to the Finals. For teams like the Brooklyn Nets, things could be promising with the right draft pick.

As for a team like the Charlotte Bobcats with the all-time worst NBA losing season ever, who still didn't manage to secure the No. 1 draft lottery pick? Well, as their fans would tell you, they better not screw up. That's easier said than done for teams that just haven't done well in drafting and/or the court in recent years.

Kentucky's Anthony Davis, Kansas' Thomas Robinson, Florida's Bradley Beal, North Carolina's Harrison Barnes, and University of Connecticut's (UConn) Andre Drummond are expected to be the top draft picks in some order. Davis is the consensus No. 1 pick, but other than his unibrow apparently being intact, nothing's for sure on his NBA potential. Are you excited for the NBA Draft?

For T-Rob, I'm always excited.
I guess I'm a Kings fan now, lol, but if the Rockets really do get Dwight Howard, I don't even know what I'm going to do.

Only hardcore sports fans get excited for the draft. That, and fantasy basketball players. I am both.

I love basketball, but I always miss out on the draft for whatever reason. This year especially, I missed the NHL draft. Because I missed so many NBA drafts, I gave up on it, and thought it best to watch them during the season to see how well they play with the big boys.
