It is my favorite show, but this season is kind of slow and I don't like that they are putting all their focus on the new characters than the originals. Hopefully Russel will make an appearance tonight because I really wanna know his deal, Last season I didn't care for but hopefully this season will pick up.
Then we are on the same page. I think it's pretty slow right now. I heard, not sure how true it is, that it is going to pick up. I hope so, because it is really boring me at this point. And I was hoping they would introduce more supernatural characters to the show as well. This whole Authority thing is boring.
The Authority was nothing like I expected, I thought they would be a little more on the creepy/ruthless side, they are far more civilized than I expected, I was expecting something like what the magister was, more fearsome or something, yeah, I am disapointed with the Authority.
I know what you mean about more supernatural characters, I read all the books and the show is so different, in the books Tara never became a vamp and Jason DID become a werepanther, what happened to that? That guy that Jessica was drawn to(the one that smelled so good) he is Claude, one of my favorite characters from the books, I hear he is going to be in the show more this season, I hope the show don't go and ruin him like they did other characters.
LOL!!! Good post! I have heard it being called a "vampire porn" before. Yeah, I do admit, they can omit those scenes and they would still be able to get their point across.
I actually like werewolves but I can't see how fairies could come into the plot. Wow, who knew Louisiana was such a hot bed for creatures! lol. Actually, in the book "Interview with The Vampire" some of it was set in New Orleans. I've been to New Orleans it is a really cool city (although I went before the hurricane).
Oh cool! How did you like it? I have family there as well. I lived there for a few months right before the hurricane, then I decided to leave. But yeah, Sookie is part fairy. LOL!
Okay, that's how Sookie has the second sight. I really enjoyed New Orleans, the history, the food it was really neat. I worked for a radio station and they sent me there. I went to the Saints vs. Panthers game, I think it was 1998 or 1999.
Hmmm, I didn't see the casinos. I worked in radio for about 20 years and it was really a lot fun but I got tired of it after I had a child and was married. In my single days it was great. I really loved the French Quarter. We went to (I think it was called) The Three Sisters for brunch, went on a ghost tour, went to voodoo shops (where one of the men said I had light but my my husband had darkness...weird) and stayed in a beautiful hotel but I can't remember the name. I have to say the voodoo places gave me the creeps.
Yeah there is Harrah's which is right downtown and there is the Treasure Chest, I think that's the name, but it's out in Metairie. I've never done a ghost tour, although I want to go back and do one. How was it? Hmm, you got a reading in the voodoo shop? You bought any voodoo dolls? Yeah, alot of those places are for entertainment, but then you do have others that are just creepy. It's best to just steer clear.
No that was what was weird, I didn't get a reading and wasn't buying anything, we were just looking around. Then the person called me over and told me that, he didn't ask for money or anything.
Jess is my favorite... she is sexy!
I wouldn't mind being her fangbanger.
