Remember Tim Duncan and Gregg Popovich's San Antonio Spurs? You know the same Spurs that won four NBA Championships from 1999-2007? Those Spurs could very well be back. After getting bounced by the Memphis Grizzlies in a stunning upset in last year's postseason (Spurs were the No. 1 seed), the Spurs are back as that under-the-radar contender -- or so we might think.
On Monday, the Spurs increased their win streak over the Golden State Warriors to 14. The team overall has won three straight games, gone 8-2 their last 10 games, and have clinched the NBA Southwest Division. They currently sit at No. 1 in the Western Conference, dead-locked with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
We say the Spurs are under-the-radar because they haven't received the press of the Miami Heat or Chicago Bulls, but that doesn't mean this team isn't for real. With experience, a reinvigorated squad, and young guns like Tiago Splitter and DeJaun Blair, the San Antonio Spurs could avoid a first round exit this postseason. But can they go all the way?

b) LOVE Manu Ginobili
c) they are doing really well this year and I believe they could get far into the playoffs if now win them. Now hopefully they won't pull a stunt like they did last year.
