Just one month ago, everyone -- SodaHead.com and its readers included -- was raving about the New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin and the phenomenon that was known as Linsanity. Keyword: Was. All that momentum, all that hype, all the positivity around the Knicks is officially gone. But who is to blame for the Knicks' recent bad luck?
On Sunday, Lou Williams led the Philadelphia 76ers to victory over the Knicks at 106-94. It was the Knicks' fifth straight loss, despite having a healthy Carmelo Anthony back in the lineup. Once above .500 and primed to get rise up the Eastern Conference ranks, the Knicks are now 18-23 and a mediocre 11-10 at home in Madison Square Garden. Fans surely couldn't be happy with their team losing to city/team rival Philly at home.
Knicks center Amar'e Stoudemire scored only nine points and grabbed five rebounds. Anthony went 5-13 in field goals, while Lin went 5-18 with 14 points and seven assists -- and six turnovers. While Lin has gotten most of the attention, he has gone from a no name on the bench to a very solid starter making six figures in a month.
Compare that to All-Stars Anthony and Stoudemire who get paid far more and have higher expectations and haven't met them. Of course, if the Knicks don't make the playoffs, fair or unfair, the full blame could be put on head coach Mike D'Antoni. But whoever you want to blame might not matter right now. The Knicks have to fix whatever problems they have before they end up watching the playoffs from home. It's safe to say though that the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin included, may officially be overrated.

The Knicks just need to get rid of Melo. The team was winning games without him and now they are losing games with him.
Teams win games... not individuals.
