Valve's survival shooter games pits you and three other players or computer controlled characters against a horde of zombies to survive the zombie apocalypse, but is it scary?

I didn't think so anyway. There's so much action all the time that you don't have much time to be scared.

And i never will. I HATE Steam, and will have nothing whatsoever to do with any games associated with Steam.

Tried to check I've never played one. I'm not a gamer. Maybe my kids would know. They are but I can't imagine any video game being scary.

It can be, but as for survival horror games, Silent Hill is more scary than this. Believe me, SIlent Hill is just one of the freakiest games you could play. It's not about the amount of enemies you fight at once like Resident Evil, but just the atmosphere, enemies coming out to surprise you even if there's only one or three there at one time.

It has a great set of stories to it as well, you have the nightmare lands where the enemies are much tougher and it's all dark and freaky as you can't see where you're going except for a flashlight. But, I love the series, sometimes I'm just too nervous to pick the game up and play again X3 Video Game horror games definitely have a fright factor in them.

Honestly, I'm not scared by TV or movie zombies, but video game zombies frighten me. I guess it's because I'm more invested in the characters being attacked by zombies in video games since I'm controlling them.

It's not that I'm shying away from zombie games, it's that I'm always on edge while playing them. My cat brushed up against my leg and I freaked out. Not so that I jumped or almost threw the controller at him, but that I was griping at him.
