Are the Bobcats Really That Bad?

We recently covered arguably the NBA's hottest team right now at the top of the Western Conference -- the San Antonio Spurs. Now it's time to shift gears and go the opposite direction. While many teams are clicking on all cylinders or the very least are getting into a playoff mode for the upcoming postseason, the Charlotte Bobcats are... well... not.

Believe it or not, the Bobcats are bad. Really bad. Terribly bad. Perhaps "all-time go down in history as horrendously bad" bad. And here's the kicker: the team is run by the greatest basketball player of all-time: Michael Jordan. But Jordan may be proving that he's the polar opposite as an NBA executive/owner.

On Monday night, the Bobcats didn't just lose to the New Orleans Hornets. The team set a franchise record -- and not one they should be proud of. With a franchise-record 17 straight losses under their belts, if the Bobcats (7-53) don't win another game this season, they will finish with a .106 winning percentage. What's the worst winning percentage of all-time, you ask? .110 by the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers. So, let's just say that the Charlotte Bobcats are close. Do you have faith in the team?

I live in Charlotte, they are so damn bad that my friend got offered a free ticket with free parking and 10 dollars for food and he STILL did not go. I also work for the healthcare company that works with the team, you also know they suck when you get this email

"Tickets for The Bobcats vs The Bulls for $10. Come see MVP Derek Rose!"

Yes, lets get excited about the opposing team's player a great way to raise team morale.

I cannot believe there is a team in the NBA that shoots under 42% from the field, under 30% from 3-pt range, has no player who averages 6 or more rebounds a game and has officially lost a whomping 9 games by 30 or more ponits.

I have a feeling they have Anthony Davis in either the 2012 or the 2013 NBA draft. If not them, then the Cavs for sure.

They should be thankful of the lockout cause if they lost every remaining game and the season had 82 games, their record would be 7-75 and a .085 percentage.
