Yes

There are over 500 serial killers in operation in California alone. It is just never on the news that much. And the number of children who go missing each year would blow your minds.

I think there are just as many as there ever were. However, modern technology and media are able to tell more people about mass murderers far easier than they ever could in past times.

There are not more serial killers than before, just better and more media coverage. Mainlt because there is more media.
