Probably most of them are. There are some that are seem humble and not so superficial, but most them seem to be really arrogant and only concerned with themselves and their perfect worlds.

The reason I picked is because I guess it's those I grew up idolizing those who are making a difference in the world. Those same people are promoting a positive outlook on life and putting their money someplace where it belongs. With these same people I grew up watching and listening to, and buying albums, they're the same people who came out of nothing and knew how hard growing up can be. Everything from bullying to growing up in bad places.

I think most people who are "celebrities" rather than talented actors/musicians/etc. (Like Jessica Simpson, the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, that "actress" who's constantly in and out of rehab, ect) are so self-absorbed the couldn't possibly have any grip on what's going on in reality.

yep, big time... Arrogant too in their need to share their thoughts on TV. That's one reason I stopped getting satellite or cable.. Can't stand them.
You know what I get a kick out of in the last year..? In my netflix DVD rentals, you often see in the beginning, an ad for donations to the American Film institute or something like that, to preserve and change over old film into digital format. You know what I mean, it starts with that big name director, Martin Scorcese, he talks about red shoes, they want OUR money when they have millions. The can kiss my patootie. Arrogant and unrealistic.
