As Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes recently proved, being a Hollywood power couple isn’t easy. And it’s even harder to maintain a strong relationship when the duo is only in their teens. Such is the case with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, who are reportedly on the rocks after dating over a year.
It’s not a huge surprise that the pair is having problems. They’ve allegedly been on and off for months. Bieber and Gomez managed to weather the tabloid storm when Mariah Yeater accused the Biebs of being her baby daddy. But he’s been working pretty hard lately. This included a recent romp around the globe to far off lands like Oslo, Madrid and Paris for a televised world tour. He didn’t stop for long after that and now he’s crossing the states to promote his new album “Believe.”

For her part, Gomez got Bieber fans worked up on Twitter when photos surfaced of the Disney star on the beach with another man. The guy in question turned out to be a music video director, and Bieber's BFF, Alfredo Flores. Some wonder if they were cheating behind Bieber's back. Others took it as a sign that a romantic crisis had been averted.
On paper, Bieber seems like he’d be the perfect guy. He sings tunes like the love song “Boyfriend” and he once treated Gomez to the ultimate date: a private screening of “Titanic” at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. But when push comes to shove, he’s an 18-year-old heartthrob, who’s adored by throngs of screaming girls and he’s not around much. So we can’t help but wonder: Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez on the rocks?

I mean, how OLD are they? Isn't it time they moved on into the world?
