Jennifer Lopez started her career as a dancer on a comedy show, but she's getting her kids off to a much more elegant start.

Her 2-year-old twins, Emme and Max, were signed on as the spokesbabies for Gucci's new line of children's clothing. Us Weekly got a few previews of the two tots sporting some adorable overpriced, undersized outfits. (Us reports the outfits range from $80 to $1,600.)

Of course, "modeling" may be a bit presumptuous for the babies, but they do look like naturals. And J-Lo claims Emme is catching on quick. She told Us Weekly, "Emme picks out her own outfits and likes to sleep in her princess dress." Max, on the other hand, "prefers to run around the house with no clothes on."

In addition to kick-starting the kids' careers, Gucci's new baby line is donating $1 million to UNICEF's Schools for Africa and $50,000 to the Maribel Initiative, a health care charity sponsored by J-Lo.

no they are not too young...in no way is this exploiting her kids..we all know who they are soo yea they are old enough to model..and really why should this even be discussed ?...NO POINT!!!

They're her kids, it's her business. It's not causing them any harm. It's not like she's trying to live vicariously through them, she's already famous.

Why do people stick their noses in places that don't concern them? That is strickly up to Ms Lopez. I am sure she is more than able to make sound judgement calls, after all , she has handled her own affairs quite well in my opinion.

Nonsense. They are adorable! Plus, I bet they'll get tons of free clothes. Shiiiyet, I'd do it for free if I knew my kids were going to get free clothes for the next couple of years... it can get expensive, especially with twins. Not that JLo has any problems paying the bills and all, but still, it's free! Rich people love free stuff, especially free clothes.

Seriously? We see babies modeling and acting ALL the time and just because they are the kids of someone famous, it becomes a controversy? Haha. If it were ANY other kids no one would care, but they are the kids of someone famous, so they are being forced, right? LOL(: If they don't do it, someone will. They are going to get models one way or another. And maybe the kids will want to model. If not, I'm sure they won't continue it. It's really not a big deal.

Why care?

We see kids modeling in the sears catalog and nobody seems to mind.

Since she has forgotten where she came from and now dresses her kids in over priced clothes? Well good for her, I was born near the same section of the city she is from and would want to forget it too. And if I could I would spend stupid money on my son. And she has stupid money.

Why not. Her children are beautiful and if they are O.K. with modeling then encourage them but not to the point where they lose their direction. Just do not overwork them. They "are" still babies.

Why do our public figures want such a thing, let the children grow up to be themselves and not the full product of another messed up industry labeled "modeling". Then the stars wounder why the cameras are smothering them where ever they go. Give the babies a rest.
