If you're sick of Chris Brown's post-domestic violence scandal comeback (and his new neck tattoo), you're not alone. A Canadian media company has created a "Brownout" plug-in that blocks the hip-hop star's face and name from your browser.
“It is nearly impossible to go on the Internet without reading something about him; he is always doing something outrageously moronic,” Sam Sutherland, online producer for AUX, the company that created Brownout, told CBS Local. “If he wants to get a tattoo on his neck that kinda looks like Rihanna, we are going to write about it. But at some point, it reaches Chris Brown idiocy saturation."
Previously, AUX has "blocked" Nickelback; next up could possibly be Donald Trump. Do you think "Brownout" is an awesome idea? Or do you like reading about -- and looking at -- Chris Brown?

However, I also see Very Bad Things arising from this technology, especially at the level where the individual does not choose it but has the choice made for them by a company or government.
