How did I miss this? Hell yes, I am!

I played for seven years. Blue Jays for four years - we won a championship in my second year. A's for two years. Cubs for one more year. (OK - this was not the majors, but the MSBL) :-)

As far as the team I root for? Since 1975, it's been the Red Sox (and since 1977 it's also been the Mariners of course).

Yes, they need the old Carpenter back, but remember how Adam Wainwright came back slow and he is still not the same, so if Carpenter comes back as good then good for the cards, if he comes back slowly then we will have to wait and see how the season goes. Hopefully he will be able to come back good enough or better.
