In possibly the weirdest Kardashian-related story yet, Kim has opened a milkshake store in Bahrain -- and it was met by protests. Around 100 Sunni Salafists turned up to demonstrate outside The Walk Bahrain, a shopping mall in the capital of Manama.

According to the New York Daily News the reality star visited the city on Saturday to open a Millions of Milkshakes franchise inside the mall, an event that was attended by thousands of screaming fans who had paid up to 500 Bahraini dinars ($1360) for a ticket.

The protestors were dispersed by police using stun grenades, and there were no reports of injuries or casualties. The visit was also brought up in parliament by hardline Sunni MPs who described her as “an actress with an extremely bad reputation,” but according to Bahrain's English language Gulf Daily News, the assembly didn’t vote on the motion. Ummm...let's see: sex tape with D-List "musician," overly large ass, way too much makeup, reality slut, a fake marriage, sold bogus diet pills, tried to give credit cards to kids, slaps her face on every tacky thing that will allow her to do so, and is probably the dumbest person on the planet next to Nicki Minaj. You don't have to be religious to hate Kim and see that her reputation is tarnished beyond repair (I'm agnostic, and I wish she'd fall off the planet). She could become a nun tomorrow and donate her fortune to charity and it still wouldn't remove the damage.

I haven't heard any thing good about Ms. Kadashian, but I suppose opening a milkshake shop in the Middle East has to be a good thing, right? Maybe that's what those guys need to bring them around. A nice cold refreshing milkshake to temper the hate.
