Anthony Davis Is Trademarking His Unibrow: Smart or Silly?

According to CNBC, former University of Kentucky standout and top NBA Draft pick Anthony Davis is not getting rid of his trademark unibrow anytime soon. Why? Because Davis is actually trademarking his signature look, even though unibrows are um…complete fashion don'ts in the Western Hemisphere.

CNBC reports that the phrases "Fear the Brow" and "Raise the Brow" have been trademarked by Davis. As ridiculous as that sounds, it may actually be kind of smart, as Davis is destined to make a significant amount of money as the top star of this year's NBA Draft.

“I don’t want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it,” Davis said to CNBC. “Me and my family decided to trademark it because it’s very unique.” Anthony Davis is definitely unique, especially when it comes to basketball ability, fashion sense, and learning how to market his image. Although it's hard to believe people would've actually tried to grow unibrows…

and silly. He could make money, so yeah smart, but it's not unique to him cause other people (including myself) have it too, it's part of mankind. I don't think he should be able to trademark the phrases; I've never even heard of such thing before this.

How exactly do you trademark a natural phenomenon that occurs on many people? It is NOT unique to him and I guarantee nobody is copying it on purpose, given that you can't just grow it if you want to. There is nothing signature about it.

How do you "try" to grow a unibrow? You do, or you don't.

This guy is entirely too full of himself if he really thinks his unibrow is unique. It doesn't look good either.

This is stupid and it can't possibly go through.
