Another 'Snow White' Film in the Works: Which One Sounds the Best?

Another one? Seriously?

We were already feeling a little embarrassed for the studios that had the misfortune of producing their own versions of "Snow White" at exactly the same time, but this is friggin' ridiculous.

Disney must have something up its sleeve.

That's right, the third (and please oh please be final) "Snow White" film currently in production is under Disney, the company that launched its massive empire on the back of the pale princess and her seven small sidekicks.

The Hollywood Reporter claims "The Order of the Seven" will be live-action, directed by commercial director Michael Gracey and written by "Toy Story 3" writer Michael Arndt.

However, Disney's version won't follow the same path as Universal's or Relativity's movies. This one will focus primarily on the seven dwarfs, and will take a more action-oriented approach to the story.

Apparently, the dwarfs in "The Order of the Seven" will be a band of globe-trotting 19th century Freemasons of some sort, and the movie will take place in China, where an "ancient evil" is pursuing a mysterious "Englishwoman." Sounds like "Crouch of the Hidden Tiger" meets "The King and I."

Beat that, Kristen Stewart!

Unfortunately, no cast for Disney's version has been disclosed yet, but after all of these "Snow White" movies are through, the percentage of Hollywood actors who have played leading dwarfs will have practically tripled.

Relativity's "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White"

Don't get me wrong, Disney knows how to tell an emotional story when they want to. Look at, well, most Disney films. But I just want to see a different take on it.

I've only seen Stewart in Twilight and something she was in when she was a kid, so she seems so wooden to me. I don't know.

Wasn't Snow White one of Disney's first movies? Why not just re release it (again!)? It's scared children for decades, made them weep at White's death for decades and is still considered by some a classic.

Snow White and the Huntsman was a thoroughly enjoyable film. I have never found Kristin to be boring. Maybe because I like her understated subtle acting. You can really see her emotions in her face, but she doesn't shout.... like the retarded girl from Harry Potter who screamed absolutely every word in the script. I can still hear her screeching "levitoso". The Huntsman is fun, fast paced. It takes the story seriously. No snarky witticisms. No cutsey dwarves. It trusts that the adventure will be enough and it is. Best of all the queen is actually so very very scary. Not just someone punch clock baddy like in most Disney Films. Go see it. You will actually have a good time. You don't have to tell people you did. Pretend to be snobby and much too cultured to your friends. But sneak away to the theater and enjoy this wonderful film.

GOOD GRIEF .. there's nothing like the CLASSIC animation of Disney .. Snow White and the 7 Dwarves ...

Personally .. of the three .. Disney has the best chance of doing something decent .. the rest just produce GIGO that I won't waste my hard-earned income on at all.

Here's the thing this one shows snow white's true colors let alone kristen stewart's and this one has 8 not 7 maybe adding one more works besides which where Is snow white In the order of seven can't just have dwarfs Its like having fries without a burger and the brother grimm one too preidctable at least with snow white the huntsman
I mean give them a chance consider charlize theorn play a serial killer and won an oscar the evil queen fits the role K stew picking snow white over casey anthony and some transsexual killer we don't know proves to me enough that she Is a hero now that If she keeps robert pattison and heidi montag grounded then then everything will be fine good people don't kill evil people do setting up for a great film next summer can't wait happy birthday as well to charlize theron who needs the other fools In hollywood everything will be fine.

The Grimms tend to have a, well, grim version of the fairytale. I'm pretty sure they had some of original fairytales, like Sleeping Beauty (seriously f*cked up ending), The Little Mermaid (tragic love story) and Little Red Riding Hood (it was a disturbing ending, but it was used to teach girls that it's better to be safe than sorry) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I haven't seen any of these, but the reason I picked Disney's is because Disney is what happens when you learn to dream. The Disney franchise has brought magic and ultimately success to almost every movie it has made, because the elements they use to formulate these pictures- imagination and happiness- aren't friends with capitalism.
And you probably shouldn't fix what wasn't broken in the first place- HINT HINT COUGH COUGH

She is soo awkward.
Not only on events but on every movie she does.
Although Snow White has always been my least favorite princess. I prefer Beauty and the Beast and Sleepy Beauty any day.

Ok. This Snow White Overload is completly ridiculous. Though I think SWATH will be the one I'm going to see. Mainly, many have just been hating on the movie only because Kristen Stewart is in it. I think it's wrong for anyone to do that. SWATH seems more action packed and a twist to the original Snow White story. So far I really like the cast of the movie.

Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth are also good choices for their roles. I can't wait to see this movie next year!
