Another Hollywood Marxist hates capitalism. Should Joss Whedon donate his millions to the poor?

Joss Wheadon became a millionaire as a 1%'er Hollywood director.

joss weadon

When he is not riding private jets or hanging out with other millionaires, Joss Whedon is feeling really good about himself by preaching leftist dogma.

He became even more of a mulit-multi-multi-millionaire by directing the movie 'Avengers' in which he was very much in the top 1% of people paid in the capital venture.

How does Joss Whedon thank the USA that made him fabulously wealthy and the method which he used, capitalism?

By trashing the USA and capitalism:

“We are watching capitalism destroy itself right now,” [Whedon] told the audience.

He added that America is “turning into Tsarist Russia” and that “we’re creating a country of serfs.”

Whedon was raised on the Upper Westside neighborhood of Manhattan in the 1970s, an area associated with left-leaning intellectuals. He said he was raised by people who thought socialism was a ''beautiful concept."

Should Joss Whedon donate his millions to the poor?

Funny how these Hollywood Marxists earn their wealth and privilege through capitalism and American workers then are filled with hate for capitalism and American workers yet they NEVER give up their wealth as they want others to do.

It's because to liberals compassion means giving away OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.

How interesting that Obama made the statement this week that no successful person could do it without the government. Surely he is talking about the Hollyweird crowd, who have a special tax bracket, tax credits, tax rebates, tax deductions and on top of that, taxpayer funded "incentives" that all directors and producers fight over to help their films get made.

Yes, the government is helping Hollywood and vice versa.

Watch the end credits from his movies to see who the real fools are, the unaware Americans funding these government handouts to people like Joss Weadon.

That's very true a lot of the profits of millionaire movie producers and distributers are paid for by tax payers. Not just "tax cuts" but million dollar FBI stings to protect their copyrights! Whole agencies work to basically maximize the profits of the film and music industry. They're welfare queens. Don't even get me started on professional sports.

That's like saying Ron Paul is a hypocrite for working for the government.

It's OK to make money without embracing every aspect of what's wrong with American Capitalism. Just because a system happened to work out well for you doesn't mean you have to believe it's perfect in every way. Have a little nuance. Life isn't just simple black and white you're either 100% OK with the damage caused corporate greed or you're a Marxist marching with Stalin!

Josh Weadon, Michael Moore and all the other commie hypocrites should split the profits equally among all those involved in the making of said films. An equal share to the extras, the caterers, the hairsylist, etc. What? They don't want to do that? Then they should STFU!

Let me explain. At no time does Michael Moore say "It's wrong to make a bunch of money." So his making a bunch of money is not hypocracy in any way. At no time does he say capitalism is 100% bad an no one should ever make money. In the real world there are degrees. You don't have to either agree 100% with every aspect of something so complex and nuanced as a financial system or be 100% against every aspect of it. You can pick and chose like a buffet. Just because I don't like the roast beef doesn't mean I don't like the whole buffet or even the other meat!

Moore is for film makers making money from their work, but not hedge fund managers giving themselves 20 million dollar bonuses from TARP money after screwing our economy.

If you can't see that difference then save your pity for yourself.

Michael Moore says we all should spread the wealth....as long at it isn't his. The minute he pays everyone involved in making his movies an equal share, and I mean everyone from caterers and extras to producers, then I'll lay off him. Until then he is the biggest hypocrite on the planet.

I have bad news... we're ALREADY spreading the wealth. Problem is in the last 30 years of so we've been "spreading" it from the middle class to the top 0.1%.

Show me where Michael Moore says all his employees deserve an exactly equal share of the profits and I'll believe you. Until then you're just plain wrong.

He repeatedly states that the wealth of the world should be shared equally. Have you watched any of his movies? Watched any of his interviews? Obviously he doesn't include himself because as a true liberal, he only believes in using other peoples money.
  • SW CMackle... 2012/08/24 19:39:05
    SW
Yes I've watched ALL his movies and I met him in Seattle and I have the autographed TV Nation book to prove it! He doesn't think wealth should be spread "Evenly." There are just some things about our system that are wrong, and he tells it like it is, that's all. Capitalists use other peoples money all the time!
  • CMackle... SW 2012/08/24 20:05:34
    CMackley ~POTL~PWCM~JLA
Yes, capitalist use INVESTED money from others and in most cases return a profit to them. Capitalist also get money from purchasers who but their products willingly. Socialist, on the other hand, TAKE other peoples money through exorbitant taxes , fees and regulations until there is nothing left and you end up with the mess in Europe. Capitalist want the economy to thrive to ensure their continual success. Stop being a taker. We already pay the highest business tax on the planet.
  • SW CMackle... 2012/08/27 12:39:38 (edited)
    SW
Not always. Sometimes capitalists use BORROWED money to buy controling shares of a corporation then they USE THAT CORPORATION for collateral... (so there's no risk for them -they're risking other people's money) then they LIQUIDATE that corporation DESTROYING THE JOBS STEALING THE PENSIONS and ASSETS that the people there have WORKED HARD FOR. and make off with a big fat bonus for doing it. And when they walk away with their cool millions they don't give a s#$% if the economy "thrives" or not cause they got theirs in a Swiss bank account and can just go to Bremuda if they want.

    That's Romney-style "vulture capitalism" and it's bad.

When people make a product and sell it and it has an appeal like Michael Moore's movies and it makes money, that's good capitalism. They're not just "money changers." running elaborate scams basically that are only even legal thanks to years of deregulation. They're actually creating something and that's good.

Bain only steps in when companies are already failing and about to close. 90% of companies Bain invested in succeeded and 10 times more people have been able to keep working and not let go as would have happened if not for them.

If Romney were running as a Democrat you would be defending him. Just as the left defended John Kerry's millions. Millions he didn't even earn himself, he married it like the leach that he is.

Bulls$$@ KB toys was not "failing" Neither was GS Industries. They were vulnerable to leveraged buyouts by vultures like Bain.

If Romney were running as a Democrat he wouldn't have made it past the primaries because Democrats have more sense.
John Kerry's wife had millions because of a PRODUCT that they CREATED and CREATED JOBS instead of DESTROYING THEM. Theresa Heinz also founded one of the biggest charitable organizations in the world that has helped millions of people. Something Romney will never understand cause he likes firing people.

You still don't get it... it's not how much you have it's how you got it and what you do with it that matters.
I got nothing against people making millions or marrying into millions like the decorated WAR HERO, John Kerry who was fighting for his country while Romney was tootling around France on le bycicle. (And save me any swift boat bs --none of those guys were actually anywhere near Kerry).
