Most of the people he swears at deserve It,they ask for his help and then get pissed off at him because they don't like his suggestions, well If your not going to take his advice than don't ask for his help.

If you look at his shows based in Europe he doesn't explode like that. I think the anger is for show - for the provincials. I'm sure he has a temper, but I don't think he has a problem.

    He expects certain standards.
I agree when he yells at a so called chef sends him RAW food, or obviously overcooked and burnt. That is an insult.

Sometimes I think he goes a bit too far and just might bust a jugular. Hhhmmm okay, yes he does it a lot. I hope his health is good so he is around for a long time because I think he is an excellent Chef, entertainer, humanitarian and family man.

I love Ramsey. I don't want him to change because then he wouldn't be as entertaining.

Know that in this life all is vanity. Getting angry only frustrates whoever who is in reality doing what they think is their best. Instead of getting angry tell them constructively what they could do to make it better than it is. After all you are the expert. If a voice teacher yelled at their student when they made an error in singing would not help the error.

Talk about a rude individual, I am really shocked that no one yet has stomped this guy. It isn't like he hasn't deserved it. Perhaps someone has and they just haven't shown it. I cannot stand to watch his program. Like others I will be channel surfing and his show pops up and he is yelling this isn't done right blah blah blah, and no one has said so take your but in the kitchen and fix it and shut the heck up.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with ramsay. he tells the truth and those coddled panzies cry when they get scolded. Parents use to discipline..., now they just let the kids do what ever they want, no responsibility, no drive, no work ethics. which is why the country is going down the crapper fast! lazy americans

I think he's great. The Simon Cowell of cooking. I've seen shows with him and his family and away from the TV shows, he seems to be a really calm, rational person in his personal life. I think the TV Gordon is just that, his TV character.

    I love Gordon Ramsay ;0 )

I read his biography while I was in Culinary School ~

gordon ramsay roasting in hells kitchen

" Everyone thinks they know the real Gordon Ramsay: rude, loud, pathologically driven, stubborn as hell.

Now, for the first time, the world's most famous—and infamous—chef tells the inside story of his life: his difficult childhood, his father's alcoholism and violence, his brother's heroin addiction, his short-circuited soccer career, and his fanatical pursuit of gastronomic perfection—everything that helped mold him into the culinary talent and media powerhouse that he is today. He also dishes the dirt on the rich and famous, and takes you behind the scenes of some of the great restaurants.

Honest, outrageous, and intensely personal, Roasting in Hell's Kitchen will not only change your perception of Gordon Ramsay but that of the cutthroat world of haute cuisine as well. "

I watch all of his shows, whenever I can !

Ran across this video yesterday ;0 )

    He's absolutely phenominal...

I think I would be angry too if there were people in the same career as me that were embarrassing the rest of us and running themselves into the ground with their ignorance. I love this man. He's a genius, and he doesn't even need to go around helping restaurants. He just does. Sometimes getting angry is the only way to get others to listen.
