A Brit hasn't won Wimbledon since before electricity was invented, or more accurately, since Fred Perry pulled off the feat in 1936. But Andy Murray, who's Scottish, wants to change all that -- and all of the U.K. is rooting for him. Are you rooting for him, too?

The world number four will start a grand slam semi-final as the favorite for the first time since reaching his second Australian Open final at the start of last year. On that occasion, he beat David Ferrer, and it was the Spaniard who Andy Murray defeated again yesterday in a very tough four-set clash to set up tomorrow's meeting with fifth seed Tsonga, who he has beaten five times in six matches.

I'm not a big tennis fan, prefer to play it I mean, but it would be nice to see a Brit take the title.

The last Brit to win a title at Wimbledon was virginia Wade at the Queen's Silver Jubilee year so would be quite fitting if he won this at her Diamond jubilee. Doubt whether he will win it though.

I am not a Brit. But I hope he wins it. It has been a long time coming if he does win. Is Nadal still in it?
