Amy Adams talks MAN OF STEEL?
It seems like everyone on the set of Zack Snyder‘s Superman film Man of Steel is getting on well, regardless of the relationships between their characters. Last week Michael Shannon — aka General Zod — praised Henry Cavill‘s Superman, and now it’s Lois Lane’s turn to get in on the act. Actress Amy Adams had nothing but praise for her co-stars; speaking with MTV News she said of Cavill:
You feel like you’re in scenes with Superman. He is completely
invested and yoked and he just really took the role very seriously and
yeah, he’s fantastic, he’s just so yum. He’s the nicest guy, aside from
the face.
I think what Adams means to say is that he’s an amazing guy and he’s
got an amazing face, rather than suggest that Cavill might have some
sort of facial discrepancy, which he most definitely does not. Next up
was baddie General Zod, who Adams assures us is equally good, saying:
He’s fantastic. He’s terrifying, I only had a couple scenes with him.
The casts of films are normally pretty gushing and effusive when it
comes to praising their co-stars, but there’s something about the praise
dealt out by Adams that seems very genuine. With no one having anything
but nice words to say about the project we’ll be keen to see how the
film works out come June.
