Jennifer Lopez in a sexy bra top! An Aerosmith concert! Rihanna! A live marriage proposal, and, lest we forget, a brand-new American Idol.
These were only some of the highlights of Wednesday night's "American Idol" finale, which crowned handsome (and talented) 21-year-old Phillip Phillips the season 11 winner. Yes, it's the fifth year in a row that a white guy won, but who's counting?
As usual, the "Idol" finale had something for everyone. Season three winner Fantasia joined third-place finalist Joshua Ledet (“Mantasia”) for a rollicking performance of Elton John’s classic, “Take Me to the Pilot.” Season five finalist Ace Young proposed to season three runner-up Diana DeGarmo, live on the "Idol" stage. And then there were the aforementioned performances from Rihanna, J-Lo and Aerosmith.

NCIS was by far the best cliffhanger of the season, and the cruelest! Jimmy's bachelor party and wedding get pushed aside and basically ignored. To make all the fans have to wait and worry if any of the team have been killed by the explosion, and especially for implying that Ducky is dying from a heart attack! Picking on Ducky is like kicking a puppy, you're just not supposed to do that, it's mean! I've been worrying about Ducky's fate ever since that episode where he asked Gibbs if he would be willing to be the Executor of his estate. I was thinking they were putting in some foreshadowing there, and sure enough, the finale had this as the cliffhanger!
I think all network TV is puke. The only thing that has any meaning is...SNL! And if you don't agree with me, you are worse then Hitler and Stalin! Do not even attempt to disagree with me or you will be permanently blocked!!!!
I guess i am lucky to have the top tier cable package, and the full range of paid movie channels that would make Donald Trump envious. Aside from all the endless TV viewing i can watch, i seam to have very few channels that i enjoy. History channel 1&2 science channel, A&E, Bio Channel , Nat Geo, HBO's Bill Maher . i am quite boring after all. When it comes to movie watching i enjoy dark stories, not so much mindless horror films. Network Tv seems to be beneath me. I don't consider myself a snob, just a connoisseur.
