Back in April, "What I Like About You" star Amanda Bynes was charged with a misdemeanor DUI for allegedly hitting a police car while under the influence. We say "allegedly" because she's appealing the case to the highest of authorities. She's taking it to the president. But she doesn't need no stinkin' court system to get the message to him. Why go through all that hassle when you could just... tweet him?

Bynes tweeted on Tuesday, "Hey @BarackObama... I don't drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don't hit and run. The end." Obviously, Obama will have to sort out a few other issues before he can get to her, but we anticipate a relatively quick response. Maybe he'll drop down on police station in a helicopter and deal some swift justice. By the way, @BarackObama... Where's that Xbox I wanted for my birthday? Did you get my tweet? 250 GB, please. The end. But back to the point: Was Amanda Bynes' tweet to the president hilarious -- or kind of sad?

I was gonna say hilarious until I actually read what she has tweeted..... then it went from being funny to just absolutely stupid.... and I must say that I'm rather shocked and surprised cos I thought she was smarter than that....... asking for help is one thing, but asking for the cop to be fired is just plain stupidity..... if she feels she has been wrongly accused then she should take up the matter through the proper legal and justice systems instead of trying to pull strings and use her celebrity status to influence legal process!!!

This is almost as bad and I repeat "ALMOST AS BAD" as Paris Hilton throwing a tantrum when she was convicted and she refused to go to jail.....

Sigh.... what is this world coming to...?????
