Unless you have experienced the magical side of love, that first pure young love that ended too soon but will never die in your memories, this movie could be hard to understand. Just my opinion :)

No. You are NOT the only person. I was only too happy to see that boat sink and that awful movie to end. (Not that I don't feel for the real casualities of the Titanic, but the movie sucked.)

You are not alone. I saw it once, when it was on VHS (to date myself) I had to get up an hour and a half into it to change tapes, just to watch a long boring "Love Story" in a movie that has an ending everyone knew was coming.
