CNN April 15, 2008
NEW YORK (AP) -- There's another side to Alicia Keys: conspiracy theorist.
Alicia Keys says she wears an AK-47 pendant "to symbolize strength, power and killing 'em dead."
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter tells Blender magazine: " 'Gangsta rap' was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. 'Gangsta rap' didn't exist."
Keys, 27, said she's read several Black Panther autobiographies and wears a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck "to symbolize strength, power and killing 'em dead," according to an interview in the magazine's May issue, on newsstands Today.
Another of her theories: That the bicoastal feud between slain rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. was fueled "by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing."

Gangsta rap is the shit... although tupac did not necessarily like the label. In some ways she right is rap that music is made to make people more violent and materialistic. Rather than deep thinkers and community driven... tupac warned us about fake thugs who don't give a shit about the streets and community.

But do you believe that this was a government conspiracy?

BTW: Tupak was the one who got everyone to emulate gays in prison, so thank his spirit. In SoCal prisons showing your underwear covered butt is a sign that it's available.
emulate gays prison spirit socal prisons underwear covered butt sign

According to most conspiracy theorists I've heard, Bush DID start it all. He was involved in the Roswell cover up, Kennedy assasinations, MM's "suicide", etc. LOL

Don't forget the Civil War, British tax on tea and the extinction of the dinosaurs. Oh and lets not forget the Spanish Inquisition and the Black Plague. LOL

So which one was going to be the next great black leader? Tupac or Biggie? And I think gangsta rap was a conspiracy, not by the government, but by Disney. They figured if they numb enough people to what good music really is by filling our heads with drivel like that, then we would be more accepting of all that Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers schlock they are trying to sell now. So far, it seems to be working.
