Alexandra Ford, UM Double-Major, Poses for Playboy: Does Ford change your views on Playboy models?

Alexandra Ford, who posed for Playboy, is a double-major in marine science and biology at the University of Miami. Although Ford is a senior and will be graduating from UM this coming summer, Alexandra Ford says she always wanted to pose for Playboy.

Every year, Playboy releases a collegiate edition, celebrating the women of Atlantic Coast Conference Schools.

Alexandra Ford has created a Facebook group called 'Alexandra Ford - Playboy Model.' Ford hopes to become a permanent Playboy model.

    Many young women have posed and gone on to successful careers. Their intelligence was never in question. Beauty does not mean dumb.

    Has got some very large balls. To go pose for the magazine good on her ,a bit of extra cash never goes astray. Still shows that Hugh still has got the golden eye for talent

    the view i have of playboy models is that they are sexy chicks who are willing to show off most (all?) of their body for other people (males?) to admire. this doesn't make them stupid...

    It never mattered to me if the girls posing were smart or not. Special issues will showcase different women then are regular to posse such as their collegiate or any about an actress that could have a PHD. In general the girls who pose for Playboy are either girls who had poor self-esteem in High School got a great body & want to shove it down the throats of those who hurt them.

    I have never embraced the stereotype that playboy bunnies are all hot, but dumb ditzy morons. There are a few of those, sure, but miss Ford is not the first hottie with brains to grace Playboy's centerfold.

    I've always had a positive outlook on Playboy models, or any other glamor model. I know not all models, no matter how blonde, or altered, are stupid.

    I wish this negative connonation about models, Playboy, or else where would stop. Models are people too.
