If he's safe to do so, he should. My grandfather had a heart attack at 64 and he worked another 7 years before he retired (he was an attorney).

If it is what he enjoys he should keep hosting. I don't think it puts him at any greater risk. Its ot like manual labor.

Most game shows tape all of their shows within one or two months and then they get the rest of the year off.
I don't think that will hurt him at all. He's only 71 and if he loves it, he should continue.
