Oh, Cameron Diaz. You really should have known better than to get involved with Alex Rodriguez.

A source told Perez Hilton:

"They've broken up. [Cameron is] hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him. … She went overboard."

The split comes just one month after the actress, 38, spoke publicly about her relationship with the 35-year-old New York Yankee for the first time.

Before Diaz and after breaking up with his wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, A-Rod was linked to Madonna and Kate Hudson. Before A-Rod, Diaz's last serious relationship was with Justin Timberlake.

Celebrities of any sort just should'nt get involved in any kind of steady relationships. Very few of them last any great length of time. If these rich folks were as smart as they thought they were they'd hook up with the average folks that are'nt all about fame & fortune and being in the public spotlight.

How do we really know if Cameron is hurt ? This could just be cheap gossip.
Cameron is a big girl and she must have known that she was getting involved with a player like Alex. Does any of these women notice his track record with his past relationships ?
Obviously he's got something that these women like but he does not have commitment on his mind. Either Alex is way too picky with women or he's just in it for the sex. Even with all his fame
and money, I wouldn't even think of getting involved with a heartbreaker like this guy !

Like most people in Hollywood their stardom arrests their ability to grow up and make grown up decisions. Many get drug addictions and die when Hollywood has no more use for them. I really don't care for stars as they have had a huge hand in making this culture the way it is.

But Cameron started in the business so young; her maturity level has not grown with her age level. She's trying so hard to keep that youth she started out with; not working well for her, especially when she thinks chasing after young dudes will keep her young. She needs to accept her maturity and go with it. There's beauty in every stage of a woman's life; she needs to explore and fit into her age level and she'll be more appreciated. Nothing worse than an older woman trying too hard to be young - her own mirror will never tell her the truth.

He has a reputation for being a cheater and a player. I don't see why women like this guy. Yes, he's got money, fame, being an athlete but I guess if you don't respect yourself, a gold digger, or just like him because he's a baseball player.. you won't care. Cameron Diaz I like her as an actress. I was surprised she would date him. I thought she would be smarter with her personal life. Especially when I see some of the roles she's able to play on screen. I have another thought why she would but I won't go into it.

"She tried so hard to please him". I think doing things to please your guy is nice but if you over do it.. I think it makes the other lose whatever interest in you they had in the first place.
If I were him I know I'd lose respect for her.
