Why isn't it a good idea. It's good to laugh at ones self.

Predictable. He isn't given special treatment because he is famous, so he decides to do this.

I'm sure the airline had a decent reason to kick him off, but of course it's a good idea. He doesn't have to be right to make a joke out of it.

Who knows what really happened... According to baldwin, he was just playing Wordcraft. According to the flight attendant, he was belligerent. The truth is, the only way a cell phone is going to cripple a multi-million dollar jet airliner is if somebody hits the pilot over the head with it really hard.

I would call locking himself in a bathroom and calling the flight crew vile names, slightly above belligerent. And ALL devices have to be turned off at take off, period. Why does he deserve a pass? Because he is a celeb?

Had it been a regular citizen, they would still be in jail.

So if everyone does it, critical communications with the aircraft and the approach staff could occur. You can't let just one person do it because they are famous and then enforce the rule for the rest. That's elitism. Oh, I forgot, Baldwin is a liberal and all liberals are elitists at heart.

The airline had justification for doing what they did.

He's just being an arschloch about it.

Shame, liked him when he hosted SNL in the past.
