It's official: nothing is too personal to share anymore. Days after Al Roker uttered the now infamous phrase "I pooped my pants" — and admitted that the White House was the scene of the crime, of all places — he says he's "amazed" that the now-viral interview became "such a big deal."
Why get into something so TMI on "Dateline," of all places? Well, Roker explained on "Today" that he "wanted people to realize that there are consequences to gastric bypass surgery . . . some of them embarrassing, others can be life-threatening or fatal."
Roker, 58, lost more than 100 pounds after having gastric bypass surgery in 2002 — the "pooping" incident happened a month later, he told correspondent Nancy Snyderman while promoting his new memoir, "Never Goin' Back: Winning the Weight-Loss Battle for Good."
But really, Al . . . did you have to provide so many details? Roker told Snyderman that while walking to the White House press room, he thought he had to "pass a little gas here, only a little something extra came out." He continued, "So I got to the restroom of the press room, threw out the underwear and just went commando." The image is forever burned into our brains . . .

Honorable mention:
Olivia, I'll take the bullet and try to breath life back into your dead vagina. but one question, if your vagina died, what happens to the guys penis?
Anne Heche: WOW, some lesbian must have licked all the way to her brain
Also I notice that the cowboy hat he wears seem to be pretty firmly attached (stuck?) to his head...... surely not????
As retired military, I have had issues with any deviant honor with accidents. As a cancer survivor, I felt Al's embarassment deeply.
Now that I more clearly understand your response, Danson can wear that beige brown heart right under his hat!
Most don't know it but we all had to take an anti-malaria pill every Sunday and it made many of us have unexpected bathroom moments whether on patrol or under fire.
