GaGa pretty much relies on wacky outfits and suggestive videos.

Adele got famous for her voice and songs ONLY, getting famous Old School. Unlike GaGa, Adele didn't need to prance half naked or in tight clothing to get attention.

Lady Gaga do relies on eccentric outfit, but at least she made a trademark for herself. And her voice is great too. She's not losing to Adele!

Adele is the superior singer from the technical side of singing and she also has the more unique voice. Not to mention that Gaga relies on shock factor (like Marilyn Manson and Madonna before her) and wackiness (like Nikki Minaj and Cyndi Laupher before her) more than her musical prowless. Adele made her career solely on her voice. Gaga made her career on image. Adele is substance and style vs. Lady Gaga's style.
