It's been more than three months since the 54th Grammy Awards, where singer-songwriter Adele stole the show with six awards -- including Album of the Year. The Billboard Music Awards, run by the same publication that keeps track of record sales and official charting positions, aren't quite as prestigious. But they count for something, and after Sunday's ceremony, Adele's going to need a few more shelves in that trophy case.

The "Rolling in the Deep" songstress received 12 of Billboard's 46 awards: Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist... You get the point. However, unlike the Grammys, these awards are not "decided." These awards are earned. Each one is awarded to the artist who performs best on the charts -- that means album sales, air play, Nielsen data, downloads, all play into the ceremony. So, do you think Adele's music is worth the hype?

it's not my genre of music honestly, and even if it was, I'd still pick no. I don't hate Adele, and she is better than other artists TODAY, but I think it's way too much for people to say she's one of the greatest singers of all-time. that's my opinion.

I think the woman's songs are reflections of her life, and that those reflections are somewhat similar to a lot of people, we can relate. She has a marvelous voice, and I think a great personality as well.

For me, I honestly don't like her genre of music. I like her voice, but her songs not so much. I watched an interview with her a while ago and I really like her as a person, but I don't think she's worth ALL of this hype.

SHE IS GREAT... I worked the Billboard Music Wards this last weekend. as a security officer for SOA (Special Operations) at the VIP / Talent tent gate.. Where the artist and talent checked in for their photo and ID. Boring duty, but It was an awesome show. Justin Bieber, had his driver stop his suv on the road in front of my post and he was mobbed by more than 50 fans.. Was thinking I may have jump in and help him out of the mob of fans??

Adele has a very beautiful voice and she went through a surgery (I think) and she made her way up to fame. I never heard of her until the song, Rolling in the Deep. I love the way she sings with great emotions and keeps you listening to her song. She is worth to have awards and role model for other artists.

People are gushing over her like she's god. Hello people, you all know she released an album before "21" right? It's called "19." She is an amazing artist and has an exceptionally superb voice, but the gushing is only because of her commercial success, not for the talent, for which she truly deserves. I hate the mainstream crowd, it's shows how stupid those tweens are listening to Justin Bieber and Rihanna and Katy Perry, thinking Adele is a new kind of genre - it has been around a long time, it's adult contemporary morons. No hate on Adele whatsoever, it's the people who make her overrated. 94% of people gushing over her are not her true fans, they'll forget about her and be fascinated with some other artist over her in the future, kind of like Norah Jones who just released an album and it did not become platinum within a week like her previous one.

I'm not a mega-huge fan, but she's a really good singer and she's got talent. Sadly, her songs are over-played on the radio, but I still think she's a really good singer, who really deserved those awards! (:

I'm so sorry I pressed no. Was a mistake. Adele is one of the best singers and for ONCE she isn't the Justin Bieber baby songs type... Her videos are appropriate unlike other singers and her voice is INCREDIBLE. That was the last word and it fits perfectly with her. Love u Adele

I think she's more like size 22? Idk, but she does sing with an audible passion. I have known several heavy-set girls that were like that. I should have married one (Liz, if your reading this, I will drop everything right now if you want a husband!) of them early on since she would have blown me away every day after! Alas, life was moving too quickly, and there was a troop of deceptive little ballerinas to blind me with their BS wooing!! Damn you Lori Guerra! I didn't even like your Dad's Taco's, I just made that up!

I want to see bands like La Dispute win those awards... That will never happen. Adele is cool, but worth the hype? Sure, ok, maybe I'll give her that (chose the wrong answer.) It's better seeing her as top artist than anyone else close to her.

Adele's made it big on her voice alone. You'll notice that most "pop" stars today are tall, thin and amazingly toned. They're probably more talented in that regard than in their voices (think Rihanna, Katy Perry, etc). Adele doesn't use autotune and has said multiple times she doesn't care about her figure. She is beautiful, too. I always feel like there's something else in her voice when she sings, something no one else can capture. I hate it when people try to cover her music.
