This is a question that has been argued about at my school for a few weeks so I'd quite like to hear your opinions. Who do you think is the better artist?

I personally think Adele is. Her voice is amazing.

Adele has an amazing voice. She's among the very few artists today who are famous for their singing. she's reminiscent of the older generation of artists with huge voices like Toni Braxton, Whitney, Sade.
Rihanna is just the girl next door who had the opportunity to record music. She's nowhere near her pears like Lady Gaga and Beyonce in terms of raw talent.

Adele is real music and Rihanna is Rihanna lol. Don't get me wrong she is beautiful and have some fun songs. That being said she doesn't have the sultry voice as Adele and the genius writing skills. Rihanna can't play any instruments and depends on her looks for gain. Once again I like Rihanna, but Adele is the real artist here.

also Rihanna doesn't sound good live most of the time.
