First M.I.A., now Adele. The Grammy-winning songbird flashed the middle finger at Tuesday night's Brit Awards as she was collecting her best album award. "I am so proud to be British and to be flying the flag," she was saying when host James Corden interrupted her to introduce the band Blur, leading her to flip the bird.
Adele later apologized for her actions. "I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans," she said, according to the BBC. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me."
The Brit Awards appeared to be sorry as well. “We regret this happened and we send our deepest apologies to Adele that her big moment was cut short this evening due to the live show over-running. We don't want this to undermine her incredible achievement in winning our night's biggest award. It tops off what's been an incredible year for her," a spokesman for the awards show said in a written statement, according to People.
Even ITV, which aired the show on British TV, seemed sorry to anger the one and only Adele. "The Brits is a live event. Unfortunately, the program was over-running and we had to move on. We would like to apologize to Adele for the interruption," a rep said, according to People.

I don't blame Adele one bit.
And even if it had happened in the US, she owes no apology at all.
It was her time being cut into, and all she wanted to do was thank her fans.
But, as usual, it was the "suits" who think they know best, and in this case, they apologized, as they should have.

Lindsay Lohan, there's just no need.
But worse than that was Jarvis Cocker mooning during Michael Jackson's performance at the 1996 BRIT awards. No-one should have to see that
