Adele rocked the red carpet in custom Armani, received a standing ovation after performing “Rolling in the Deep,” and swept every Grammy category she was nominated for. What a night for the 23-year-old British singer-songwriter!

Adele won six Grammy Awards: Record Of The Year (“Rolling in the Deep”), Album Of The Year (“21”), Song Of The Year (“Rolling in the Deep”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Someone Like You”), Best Pop Vocal Album (“21”), and Best Short Form Music Video (“Rolling in the Deep”). This year’s wins bring Adele’s Grammy total to eight, when combined with her 2009 awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

During Sunday night’s telecast Adele performed live for the first time since her throat surgery. She was met with thunderous applause and a standing ovation. As Grammy host LL Cool J said: “Welcome back” Adele!

I... ugh. Sorry, she's just overrated. She's talented, but she's just not the kind of blow-me-away artist I would want dominating the Grammys.
Enjoy it, Adele. The Grammys will have someone new next year. I don't see her becoming huge for too long.

Hell yea she did! It's about time someone with a small budget and a heap of talent wins with her authentic and real music...just because she's not all Katie Perry or Lady Gaga Flashy does not mean that she has wonderful music and a great presence! You go girl!!

Adele is simply AMAZING her voice you will never find anywhere else! Her songs actually mean something and aren't about drugs and money. I feel like she goes unnoticed for her talent because people think that she is fat. What does that have to do with her TALENT!! you could be a tooth pick and not have one shred of talent but you will love her because she's skinny but because of her size you think she ugly. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I don't care what anyone else says about her Adele deserves those awards her music is very good and not AUTOTUNED! :)

I think she does deserve it, but there are other amazing artists and albums that didn't get recognition because of Adele sweeping all the categories.

True enough but T.Swift had her year to do this too, remember? Probably if those other artists stick with it then they will get their deserving recognition when their time comes too, maybe! If not....create music, be successful and stay happy lol

So what are the kinds of music you listen to? Adele's song I Set Fire To The Rain, Someone Like You, and Rolling In The Deep relates to a lot of people's relationships I would rather listen to her music than stupid raps about drugs and money and someone screaming in my ear that they hate their life. Don't get me wrong I listen to all different kinds of music but I think your being a little harsh saying you hate someone that you don't even really know, not that I'm saying I do but atleast show some respect instead of trashing her. I wouldn't trash your music so why spread hate??

I agree I love Bruno Mars but you will never hear a voice like Adele. Does anyone else think that Bruno Mars sometimes reminds you of Micheal Jackson? Not that I'm saying that there is something wrong with it just wondering.

I love Adele and I think she's extremely talented and have a good voice but I don't think she deserved the Album of the Year award, I think it should've went to Gaga.
But, Of course now of days people like sad songs about crappy break ups so I wasn't that surprised that she won.

Lady Gaga's music I'm sorry but I could sing her songs and they still wouldn't have any meaning. Most of her songs on her new album I don't really like I like how she used to be before she let the fame get to her now she just does things for attention and money. Adele doesn't try to be anyone else but herself Lady Gaga thinks she has to wear weird outfits to look cool and "different" she isn't doing anything different than what people did in the 80's. I could go on but I don't feel like trashing Lady Gaga even though I kind of did so yeah lol

Lady Gaga doesn't show off her voice so no one even knows what talent she really has or if it is all an act. It's just my opinion I used to love Lady Gaga but now she has become trashy and attention hungry and cares more about making money than her music. If she went back to what she used to be before all the fame I probably would still be a fan.

Kind of like when Justin Bieber wins awards that he doesn't deserve lol I know I'm going to get hated on because I said that but really? I didn't really watch the grammy show this year but I rather have talent win then someone who has a pretty face with no talent win lol Not that I'm saying that Justin Bieber won anything this year but the last award show I watched I almost threw my t.v. away because how the hell does Justin Bieber win over Eminem and Micheal Jackson??
