Denzel Washington didn't get an Oscar until he portrayed a bad cop in Training Day despite all of his good guy roles. And now everyone's favorite Batman finally gets his star. I wonder if he got it for his role as "Mayor of Quahog"?? lolol

William West Anderson 83 years old (born September 19, 1928), better known by the

stage name Adam West, is an American actor best known for his lead role in the Batman

TV series on ABC network (3 seasons, beginning as a midseason replacement series

sensation in January 1966 following by two full seasons in 1966–67 and 1967–68, after

which the series was cancelled); and the 1966 eponymous feature film. He is currently

known for portraying eccentric characters, as well as his voice work on animated series

such as The Fairly OddParents and as the fictionalized character of the same name on

Family Guy.

He deserves it. I can't believe he hasn't had one before now. Hell, Jay Thomas has one but not Batman. He was in so many television shows and movies and still does some work. Holy Crap Batman... you are a star.
