When you first heard about "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," you probably thought it was a spoof. Alas, it's the real deal: the history/horror flick opens nationwide today.

"The way I see it, whatever else it is, it's a huge summer movie that is, for a change, not a sequel, a prequel, a reboot, a remake, based on a toy, a video game, or a board game," author, screenwriter and producer Seth Grahame-Smith told CBS. "And that's where I come in and make my case of, like, 'Hey, let's do something strange. Let's do something offbeat, a little daring. Let's get back to doing cool genre films.'"

So far, however, the film only has a 36 percent rating on RottenTomatoes.com. "Don't let the stupid title dissuade you from seeing 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.' Let the stupid plot, the stupid history, the stupid action scenes, the stupid trivializing of slavery," gripes the The New York Post. However, The Washington Post calls it, "Both terribly silly and a lot of fun."

We have to say: This one sounds just weird enough to be somewhat interesting. From "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" to "The Twilight Saga," click through our slideshow and let us know: What's the best vampire movie?

Also: Hammer films did a number of pretty cool vampire flicks in the 60's. See: Peter Cushing.

All of the above movies suck. Try Hammer Films production, "The Brides of Dracula". That's a real vampire movie.

Of the ones listed here, I'd give it to "Interview" although it paled (pardon the pun) next to the novel. However, one of my favorites was always the Frank Langella-Laurence Olivier "Dracula," and for sheer fun with the story the original "Fright Night" was great campy fun followed closely by little-seen "Count Yorga" (a vampire who used a limo rather than turning into a bat before Lauren Hutton did so in her spoof).

How the #$%^ is it possible that "Blade" is not on the list? WTF? And where the hell are Vampires, From Dusk Till Dawn, 30 Days of Night, Fright Night, Once Bitten, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Daybreakers, Dracula A.D. 1972, Love At First Bite, Once Bitten, Vampire's Kiss, etc. Any of those are better than Twilight! If I am forced to choose before I am allowed to comment, there should at least be a selection for "Other/None of the Above".

All these movies are made for the modern world, yet Interview with the Vampire carries the Victorian tradition and the other movies are stepping out into a new and revitalized generation. I am not saying this as a threat; I support them all, because each have a purpose to fulfill on what we want to and have to imagine of the undead.

I don't like all of the 7 above. Instead of them, I only like HORROR OF DRACULA, starring Christopher Lee as the Count. The Count counts his victims by means of giving them 2-hole tattoos each at their neck. Of course he uses his 2-front sharpened teeth. I also like the awesome performance of Peter Cushing and Melissa Stribling thereat. From Edgardo Valentino D. Olaes

I also don't like the movie "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I just checked it because I like one of the performers there, she's none other than >——> Sarah Michelle Gellar. She is my favorite actress. First time I saw her was from a TV Soap Opera.
